BHS Construction were recommended to us by a previous builder who was no longer trading. I found BHS Construction reliable and professional. The were good at communicating, and did a wonderful job of replacing the wooden lintel above my garage door with a steel one. The did some repair work on my elderly neighbours’ garage for free as a goodwill gesture. lll definitely approach BHS Construction next time I need some building work done, and would recommend them to friends or anyone else.
I can’t praise Robert and his team enough. After being burnt from the last lot of builders who did a horrible job with the renovation and conversion of my old building, I was happy to find BHS Construction who provided me with an excellent service for a reasonable price. They worked to the schedule, stayed within the quote, provided good workmanship, and had good communication. Overall they reflected a company of high standard and professionalism. I was particularly happy with their after care. When there was a problem, Robert and his team would respond quickly. They came and fixed it for free within the guaranteed period. BHS are an extremely skilled, reliable & professional company to deal with, I initally contracted them to install an insulation & render system to my whole house, the works were carried out on time, with minimal fuss and more importantly the finish was carried out to a 1st class standard, it has completely transformed the look of the house as well as making it much warmer internally. I was so pleased with the works that I had no hesitation in contracting them further works such as constructing a concrete base for a triple garage as well as the installation of a commercial rated driveway (suitable for 44tonne vechiles) & construction of walls either side of the newly constructed driveway – all works have always been carried out to the highest of standards. Robert Basta & his team at BHS are a pleasure to deal with, I have no hesitation in recommending them – in fact my mother has already used them to tile the floor of her new bungalow – carried out again to impeccable standards.

We appointed BHS construction as our building contractors to undertake substantial extension and refurbishment works on our house. From the start we were very impressed with their work ethic. They were punctual, worked hard, worked full days, and nothing scared or stop them. They kept to their deadlines and managed our expectations well. Their attitude to the project was always very positive, a 'can do' attitude which took away any unnecessary stress and made working with them a real joy. If any problem would arise, they would immediately come up with a range of solutions, discuss them with us, be pragmatic, helpful and efficient. It meant that instead of constantly being worried, we were very excited about the works all the way through. I had very specific ideas about the interior design and they listened and acted on everything I said and asked. They dedicated their full attention and effort to complete the house just as we wanted it and to a high standard. They sourced and installed a beautiful fitted kitchen, cupboards and shelves everywhere - all made to measure so we wouldn't lose space. Finally they communicated well with us about the budget and kept within the quote, which again relieved us from a lot of anxiety. Robert and his team turned an empty wreck with damp into our beautiful family home, and I have no hesitation recommending them. Indeed I already have done so to a couple of friends and family members, and I know that they, in turn, were equally impressed and happy with BHS Construction.

We recently undertook an extention to our house, it was a large financial investment but the best decision we made was to employ Robert and his company BHS Sussex Group. Although we had seen some of his work we had not used him before but his interest and attention to detail was immediate. Throughout the build Robert maintained that interest, he was proactive in ensuring that the best was obtained out of the plans and adding his advice as to the aesthetic aspect to ensure the finish quality. We needed internal fittings in addition to the construction, Robert sourced and installed all of these for us to an exceptional finish, the pictures speak for themselves. We were so impressed that we decided to re design the garden and employed Robert to undertake all of the hard landscaping. Friends and visitor are wowed by the end result of the build and we cannot recommend Robert and his company highly enough he would always be our first point of call for any other project we undertake
